He has no executive experience.

As a congressman he has only managed to get one bill of any significance passed in a 20+ year career (a toothless partial audit of the fed).

Ron Paul talks a lot about what he’d do as president but why should someone who has been so ineffective at their current job be given a promotion?

It seems obvious that even if the EU manages to remain intact through the current crisis, EU members are increasingly going to pursue goals independent from the Union. The EU may remain in theory, but I don’t believe it has any chance of remaining in practice.

ASSUMING THE EU DISINTEGRATES, how will global politics be affected as a result?
